At university I studied politics and graduated from Royal Holloway with a 2:1 in 2002.

Before I had my second daughter in 2014 I worked in senior business development and account management roles at marketing and corporate communication agencies, and also at a global concierge company. 

My work involved marketing, identifying and generating new leads, stakeholder engagement, strategic communications (including PR) and brand development and execution. 

With the skills, insight and experience I gained in these roles, I started to work as freelance consultant in 2016. Although my clients have different objectives, my approach is always the same; tailored, strategic and delivered to achieve results. 

With each client I build an in-depth understanding of their organisation. the industry they operate in, their values and aims, then with this insight I provide advice and direction, I identify new opportunities and industry trends to leverage, stakeholders to engage with, and I produce workable plans that I can support a client to execute. 

In terms of the results I’ve achieved for my clients; I’ve created and delivered a brand initiative that earned industry recognition for supporting female entrepreneurs, I’ve secured press coverage in local, national and industry press, written successful tender documents, and compelling copy, forged brand partnerships, developed brand values and identities, I’ve arranged and delivered successful events and impactful meetings, and effectively influenced key stakeholders to achieve commercial and strategic outcomes.
